Instructions For Use:
Before first use, place in dishwasher or wash by hand in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
For a perfect release, apply a thin layer of non-stick cooking spray to all inside surfaces of the silicone bakeware.
Fill the batter evenly in the silicone bakeware. Best results occur when batter fills the pan to no more than ¾ full to allow for expansion. The FANPAN™ Silicone Cake Pan should be placed in the accompanying stand for increased stability when transferring in and out of the oven.
Do not use on gas or electric stovetops or under broilers.
When using in the microwave, place the bakeware in the center of the microwave oven. Stand should not be used in microwave oven! Follow microwave recipe instructions. When using in the refrigerator or freezer place the bakeware and stand on a level surface.
This bakeware is safe for use with metal utensils. Do not use knives or serrated blades.
Cooking time may vary slightly from the more traditional metal bakeware; therefore, adjustments in time and temperature may be necessary.
Before removing from silicone bakeware, allow foods to cool completely or defrost in the bakeware. To remove the cooled baked goods, invert the pan, apply pressure to the bottom and carefully peel away the bakeware from the baked goods.
Acid from some foods may stain this silicone pan but will not affect the performance of this bakeware.
How to make chocolate & candy in the ice and muffin trays:
Put tray on a cookie sheet Put choclate in either the ice trays or the muffin trays. (I typically use "bark" either white or chocolate. (DO NOT USE CHOCOLATE CHIPS, as they will not give you the desied outcome), Use enough chocolate to fill the trays at least 3/4 full. Put tray and cookie sheet in a cold oven. Preheat to 350. When the oven reaches 350, take the cookie sheet with the trays on it out of the oven. With a toothpick, smooth out the chocolate to fill all areas of the mold. Bounce the tray on the counter a few times to work out the air bubbles. Let the chocolate cool completely. You can tell when the chocolate is ready to turn out, as it becomes dull in color. If the chocolate is shiny, it is not ready to remove.
To remove, begin at one end and turn the ice tray or muffin tray wrong side out. The chocolate will easily fall out, if the chocolate is set.
This bakeware is dishwasher safe and retains its superior food release after hundreds of oven baking and dishwasher cycles. For best results, remove any residue from the pan before placing in the dishwasher. If washing by hand, soak pan in warm water, wash with a mild detergent, rinse, and air or towel dry. Do not scour with abrasive cleansers or scouring pads!
